Jamie Mosley is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor who has completed her Master's Degree in Mental Health Counseling from Walden University along with achieving her CDWF. After 20+ years with Head Start, Jamie pursued her long-term career goal of becoming a therapist.
Jamie’s previous experience includes substance abuse work, inpatient mental health, and group, individual, and couple's therapy. She is trained in Dialectical Behavior therapy, EMDR, Conscious Discipline, Shame Resilience and is trauma informed. Jamie is passionate about living a wholehearted life. Dr. Brené Brown defines wholehearted living as "engaging in our lives from a place of worthiness." She believes that "a crucial part of living a wholehearted life includes decreasing negative self-talk while increasing gratitude, peace, and self-compassion.” She also believes that the wisdom to lead a healthy, happy life is within each and every one of us and her goal is to help unlock your wisdom.

Client Focus: Teens, Individual, Family, Couple
Treatment Approach: integrative approach that utilizes a variety of methods. This approach meets the individual needs of the client. Jamie believes that a "one size fits all approach" is limiting. Sessions will identify the individual, family, or couple, where they are, and developing an effective approach in the context of relationship and humor.

Jamie currently is the Professional Development Chair on the Minnesota Counseling Association (www.mnca.org) and serves on the board of the Mental Health Wellness Campaign in Anoka County (www.mwcac.org). In addition she works one day a week at the Anoka County Juvenile Center with in the long-term girls program.
