Built from love and grief, The Justin Center for Transformation and Healing is a restorative place to deepen understanding, allow the self to transform, and heal.  This space is designated in honor
of those we have lost to suicide.  

Our mission is to come together as a community by providing trainings, groups, and connection. These alternative ways to heal here honors exactly where we are. 


What we offer

 We provide training, on and off site, which can be tailored to your needs. Trainings can also be created for the various needs of the community, which embodies our value of serving. 

Conscious Healing Counseling and the Justin Center want to offer this space to other professionals who also want to have a direct impact to our community. 

Our hope is the values continue to lead the way, and we will build wholeheartedness in this space. 



Trainings

Courageous Conversations in Leadership

Developed on the research of Brené Brown, this workshop is designed for anyone who wants to learn how to become a braver, more daring leader. This workshop will combine brain information as well as Brené Brown work to build on a culture of connection.

How to Start a Kick Ass Internship Program

This training will outline the CHC internship program. This will include how to on-board a new intern, structuring the program, understanding our internship/Pre-Licensed Manual, checklists, assessments and creating a culture of community where power within because a natural learning environment.

Living BIG: Boundaries, Integrity and Generous Assumptions

Leadership is a complex dance and something that is not taught to us as clinical therapists. This training will give help give you the skills to be an authentic leader. “Living BIG is saying: Yes, I’m going to be generous in my assumptions and intentions while standing solidly in my integrity and being very clear about what’s okay and what’s not okay.

Trauma and the Brain

This training will explore how trauma impacts the brain, how the brain develops, and how to utilize skills to move people from the survival brain (am I safe) to the emotional brain (am I loved) to the thinking brain (how do I solve the problem). We will break it down using metaphors in a simple model to explain sessions with clients, parents, your partner, teachers other therapists.

Vicarious Trauma

Did you know that a trauma therapist is burned out in 7 years? This training will use the AIR model (Adaptive Internal Resourcing) to understand on a deeper level what is vicarious trauma, our vulnerabilities to it and how to protective ourselves. This event also includes a special focus on dissociation.

Self Compassion & Empathy: Fighting Shame in Families

This training explores shame, shame triggers and how they impact family, couples and individual work. This training will utilize Brené Brown’s research as well as Conscious DisciplineTM to bring together the brain and shame in an innovative way to guide clients to reach their therapy goals.

Braving Loss w/ Teens

This training will focus on how to work with teens dealing with losing a loved one by suicide. Including grief activities, creating rituals, and working through the "what-ifs."

Gifts of Imperfection

The Gifts of Imperfection is an experiential online workshop that cultivates a deep sense of worthiness. Drawing on the research of New York Times best-selling author Dr Brené Brown, we will exploring the Ten Guideposts to Wholehearted Living.

Braving Loss

Drawing from personal experience of a therapist losing their teenage son to suicide, this training focuses on the grieving process specific to suicide. This training will toggle between personal experience and how to look at suicide loss through a therapist lens.

Rising Strong

This training is a deep dive into the Rising Strong process. Based on 12 years of shame and vulnerability research by New York Times best selling author Dr. Brené Brown, these workshops will teach you how to let go of messages of “I’m not ___enough”, to move beyond comparison and embrace the freedom of being authentically you.

Daring Way

The Daring Way is an empirically based training for helping professionals, based on the research of Dr. Brené Brown. The work focuses on courage building, shame resilience, and uncovering the power of vulnerability. When participants begin this workshop, each is asked to choose one area of their life to focus on; this should be an area where one hopes to Show Up, Be Seen and Live Brave.
