Richelle Amundson, MSW, LICSW

 
 

Richelle is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker who received her degree from the Clinical Social Work program at the University of St. Thomas/St. Catherine University. Richelle has over 10 years of experience as an outpatient therapist in a variety of settings. She provided therapeutic services at an Intensive Residential Treatment Services center with focus on chemical dependency, mental health, and trauma. She provided group DBT services to adolescent females healing from suicidal thoughts, self-harm behaviors, relational difficulties, and isolating behaviors. She has also provided therapeutic services for people with complex trauma symptoms related to interpersonal and developmental traumas, sexual assault, torture, and cultural transitions.

  • Learning to be curious and notice what is happening inside and outside of your body.

  • Learning to be honest with yourself and others about what you need to be well.

  • Deciding where you want to stand in relation to your environment.

  • Building a wide and versatile toolkit for coping with a broad variety of situations.
