Hi, my name is Sara and I am finishing my master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling from Adler Graduate School and am under supervision. All I have ever wanted to do is help people. I have a kind heart and gentle spirit and love to make others feel seen, heard, and valued.
I take a client centered approach when working with individuals and value building a strong therapeutic relationship. I strive to create an encouraging and non-judgmental environment where clients feel safe to be vulnerable and grow. We will work together to explore your thoughts, feelings, and beliefs and assess how they influence the way you live your life. We can also develop strategies to address the areas in your life that you would like to change.
I am driven to support individuals when life feels overwhelming. When things get hard, it is easy to close yourself off from the rest of the world, and lose hope in yourself and your abilities. I rely on a strengths-based approach to help individuals increase their self- acceptance and gain confidence in their ability to face life’s challenges and cope in healthier ways.
